Fast Friends Reunion 2025

I traveled to Swanzey, NH, to create an independent film for Fast Friends Greyhound Adoption, an organization devoted to placing Greyhounds and other sighthounds in loving homes. Their annual reunion brings adopters and their dogs together for a day of celebration. The day includes vendors, games, open playtime, and the beloved blessing-of-the-dogs ceremony.

I wanted to capture the heart of the event: joyful reunions, tiny affectionate moments, and the unmistakable bond between the dogs and the people who rescued them. Filming handheld on an iPhone 14 let me move with the energy of the day and catch those spontaneous, emotional beats that make the story feel alive.

Edited in Adobe Premiere, the final piece is a warm, documentary-style snapshot of community—an honest look at the connection, compassion, and wagging tails that define the Fast Friends mission.
