The American Revolution
From January 2023 to the end of 2025, I had the honor and pleasure of working at Florentine Films. I held the role of an Apprentice Editor for the 12-hour, 6-part documentary series “The American Revolution.” Premiering now on PBS.
My responsibilities as an Apprentice Editor included organizing all the potential footage for the film. Categorizing the clips between live, Archival, Stock, and footage from past projects. Finding the best moment in each clip and highlighting great shots. Doing all the organizational and categorization of clips helped the Assistant editor find exactly which clips the editor needed for the scene.
In July 2026, The American Revolution received Emmy nominations during the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards. Those nominations included, “Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series”, “Outstanding Writing for a Nonfiction Program”.
It was also nominated at the 47th News & Documentary Emmys for “Outstanding Research in a Documentary”
