The Office Theme (Parody)

The Office- YJTV Style

For this project, I recreated the iconic opening sequence of The Office for the Milton High School TV production studio “Yellow Jacket Television”. As the editor, my goal was to match the original intro’s timing, pacing, and comedic rhythm while giving it a fun, school-specific twist. I replicated shot lengths, transitions, scenes, and text treatments to capture the show's familiar style. Then cut together new footage of students, environments, and studio spaces to sync perfectly with the theme music.

The challenge and pure joy were balancing accuracy with personality. Every quick zoom, title card, and punchy cut was crafted to echo the energy of the original while highlighting the unique characters of our production team. It became an early but meaningful exercise in style recreation, comedic timing, and precise editing. This remains one of my favorite intro projects to date.
